Justin accidentally leaked out that he actually secretly think I’m a bondan.

Justin: So how’s your co-workers? How many are they?

Me: 7 of us. I already knew them from our 2nd & 3rd phase interviews!

Justin: Then… How many are girls & how many are boys?

Me: (Another) 3 girls & 3 boys lor.

Justin: Then another one ler?! Bondan ar?!

Me: What! It’s me la! Another one is me la! You think I’m a bondan?!

FML.

If you’re not from Malaysia, you probably don’t know what bondan means. (Someone told me it’s pondan not bondan? Anyone can verify this for me?) Bondan simply means transsexual.

Now you can FML.

By the way, please take note that I don’t discriminate transsexual and gays. I think they’re very brave people. It takes a lot of courage to do what you *want* to do and not afraid of showing it and may get criticized by others. :)

I love these set of pictures a lot. I filtered a lot out and finally decided I’ll post these up. I kind of like dancing in a few frames so hence a few posing weirdly picture :P , but still, I love them! ’cause life’s about having silly fun like these!

Let’s dress up!

Gray tank, Cotton On. High-waisted floral shorts, Oh, popsicles!. Blue/White stripes cardigan, Abercrombie & Fitch. Necklace, Tiffany & Co.. Dress form jewelry stand, gift from ChingMan :D .

p/s: I really don’t wanna be so thick-skin to say this… But I’m kinda proud that I always do timer shot on my own and they turned out pretty good, right? RIGHT? (Please say yes. LOL). It’s tough and difficult at times but I enjoy doing these. Why didn’t I start doing this much earlier!

For us – girls, ladies & women!

It’s International Woman’s Day today! (AKA 38 day! LOL. )

To be honest, I didn’t realize it until I heard the radio. People were calling in to share the women they admire and idolize (the most?). But the DJs said Moms aside.

So to put family members & friends (to avoid politics :P ) aside, I recently really admire 女王 (Illy). She’s a Taiwanese blogger who writes to inspire and motivate ladies to live our life better. She has published 4 books to date and I’ve bought 2 of her books. Very inspiring and informative!

I also admire Andy a lot. She’s a fashion blogger who got so famous and is at Paris for its Fashion Week now to blog/report live everyday. I like how she’s being really fashionable and so talented in DIY! I’m someone that hardly DIY because I got no patience.

As for bigger figure, Amy Cheung (张小娴) is my favorite Chinese writer! I can never get tired of reading her books. She may sound quite pessimistic, but I really enjoyed reading her books. She may burst a lot of girls’ dreams of being in a perfect relationship with the perfect white knight, I think she’s just being really realistic. Not to mention, she definitely love herself a lot! She often rewards herself with food and clothes and bags. She’d pamper herself with vacations and baths. This is something sometimes how women didn’t do for themselves. We should love ourselves more often.

And for even bigger figure, I guess Anna Wintour may just be one of the women of the century. She’s the editor-in-chief in American Vogue since 1988. Meryl Streep who starred in “The Devil Wears Prada” as Miranda Priestly is actually portraying Anna Wintour being really passionate about fashion yet very distant from the public. She doesn’t actually have very impressive education background but she worked her way up and got where she’s at right now. Designers are “afraid” of her criticisms on their fashion show because she’s one of the most powerful people in fashion industry.

There’s a lot more great women who achieve so much in their life too. But I can’t possibly share all of them… These are the few that I really admire lately.

I’m so happy to see women can achieve so much these days. Unlike the past, we’re so supposed to stay home and not going to school, being uneducated and be a homemaker.

In fact, I think women are so much more flexible and great in adaptation! How often do you see a guy who is a breadwinner AND a homemaker at the same time in a family? Very rare. But for women, I dare say majority of the women are doing this yet they still able to achieve so much at work and take good care of their families. :)

Sure there’s stress for women to be so successful and multi-task so many things, so let’s celebrate our achievements in every aspect of our life today!
