Someone who said we’re good friends and so (tho I don’t think we are anymore) can actually ask me if I still staying at the same place, and if my boyfriend still in US.

Yes. I was shock not only you. Because since when my boyfriend has gone to US? It’s never on his mind before that he wants to go to US. He would rather go to UK than US.
