Sometimes Shopping Doesn’t Mean Shopping Only

I was pretty bored this afternoon. Perhaps I should say that I’m bored everyday. If you talk to me, among my 10 sentences, there would be 9 sentences of mine saying sien or bored. And you know what’s the best thing to do when you’re bored? Of course I don’t know about you la, but I know what’s the best thing to do when I’m bored. Heh. =pPp

That’s shopping. And you know, the best excuse ever to use now whenever my parents or my boyfriend or even my friends are going to nag me about my high expenses of my shopaholism would be ‘I gonna shop for my Chinese New Year clothes! You know, year end sales and all, this is the best time to shop for my Chinese New Year clothes! I still lack of a pair of pants, two tops, …. (and the list goes on). You don’t want your daughter (or your girlfriend or your friends) to wear the same old clothes, right?’

Okay. That’s a bit exaggerating about my shopaholism. But it’s true that I kinda lose control when I go shopping. So I have made a promise to myself that I’m not gonna buy any clothes anymore except for one or two pair of jeans and a CheongSam top. Hopefully I’ll stick to it.

Besides, what’s more surprising than all the sales? Well, see, here’s the thing. I only told my boyfriend and my family that I was going to 1U. So when I suddenly received a sms from CM, who is my friend from Brunei, asking me if I was in 1U at the moment I just entered the 1U car park. That was spooky. And she’s staying in Brunei! What the hell suddenly she asked me such a weird question! So I replied her ‘eh how come you know one?’ Then she phoned me, telling me that she’s in 1U and she just reached there only. We met at Zara and it was just nice to see someone familiar there. Someone whom I used to be very close to. Someone whom I used to talk to her all night long in MIRC or ICQ.

So, see, sometimes shopping doesn’t mean ‘purely shopping’. Like Sin Yi and me, half of the time, we are actually crapping or catching up things that we have missed since we hardly can meet. And in this case, if I never decide to go to 1U, do you think I could meet CM? *wink*
