The Skin Food

Today is my first day working at The Skin Food in Sunway Pyramid. I was arranged to give out free gift to potential customers and guide them to the shop. However I guess the free gift has misled the people. Quite a number of them thought the shop is selling chocolate instead of skin care and cosmetic products. And as usual, some ignored us or walked away very rudely. But well, it doesn’t matter. Really. Because I have gone through the same thing for like what, 100 times and above, during working for Estee Lauder 2004 and working for KLPac 2005. It’s like I don’t feel much.

But, I might consider to stop working in Feb or something. Because my dad is so unhappy about it. He was nagging me about it over the phone and asked me to concentrate on my study first to get good grades. *sigh* I tried to explain but still the same. He labeled me as ‘cheap labor’ now. Well, in some sense, it’s true. But that’s the rate for part timer. Anyway, I’m not really that happy with my job at the moment but I’ll see how it goes.

Everything seems so negative uh? Hmm.. But the boss is quite cool. He bought each of us a product from the shop. Anything we picked. So I picked the diet lip balm. I know I should be smarter and get something more expensive. But to me, if I don’t use it, I don’t get it. Because it’ll be wasteful, might as well get something which I will use. So things aren’t that bad after all.

By the way, do anyone know where to get Psychology books? I wanted to get my textbook for like 3 weeks and still can’t get it. The bookstore in my college is seriously fuck up. They took 3 weeks to get the books here but they got the wrong books. And they argued with me it’s the same until the boss gave up and checked the file, and there! It was his bloody mistake! Then he admit and said will check with my lecturer or something. Then the bookstore right outside my college told me it’s out of stock. I tried searching in MPH and Kinokuniya, and it’s not available in both of them as well. Then Ivone asked me to try searching in UM. So I went today, and no, it wasn’t a good news. Because they told me they don’t have this book and asked me try searching in MPH and Kinokuniya. So, I don’t even know how to start off with my assignment and it’s due on next Wednesday. Seriously. This spoilt my mood when I was on the way home. Went all the way to UM and rushing back in a traffic jam without the textbook, is seriously fuck up!

Okay, so, anyway I have to sleep early. Tata!
