Forever 21 & Cathay Cineplexe Opening

Last night, my sister and I went to the Forever 21 opening at 1U. On the way walking to Forever 21, saw my coursemates - Kenneth & Jia Jun who are working in the Geek shop. They thought my sister is my friend, which is common, almost everyone thought we’re friends.

When we reached Forever 21, it was already holly packed! So many people, didn’t manage to meet up with Veron, Elle and Becky. I met Eva and we chatted a little. I picked 5 tops to try, and I only bought 2 of them because others are too long for me. Yes, I’m short. I know. You don’t have to tell me that.

My sister suddenly told me that her friend got invitation for the Cathay Cineplexe opening so asked her to go along. Being a good sister, she decided to bring me along (otherwise how was I going to go home?)! The dress code is smart casual which means you gonna wear kinda formal like a dress or something, which she wasn’t wearing like that and thank God, I was wearing my newly purchased dress, so I didn’t have to buy a dress on the spot, but my sis had to.

While she searching for her dress with her friend, I was wandering around in Forever 21. There I went, grabbed another top, 1 headband, 1 hairbands, and a pair of flower rubberband.

Although a lot of people think that their stuff are similar to MNG and TopShop, I somehow feel that their stuff are better than MNG and TopShop. At least they have better and more designs than TopShop and their accessories prices are way cheaper than TopShop and MNG. I like their clothes but they’re just too long for me. They don’t have XS for every tops, skirts and pants.

So after my sister picked her dress and changed in the washroom with her friend doing up her make up, we off to Cathay Cineplexe. It’s situated beside The Curve. We actually arrived late at about 9.30pm while the movie said it’s to be showing at 9:15pm. It’s X-Men, by the way.

We got free pepsi and popcorns! The popcorns are not bad… But maybe a little too sweet. The movie was nice too. I mean with all the sound and visual effects, everything looks super real inside the movie.

After the movie, we got freebies again. Wahsei, we got 2 freebies in a day! It’s a X-Men poster and a notebook. The notebook quite nice. Quite useful for me as I like to write… Er more like conteng tho.

That’s it for yesterday! Gonna go for lunch now.
