Hello, short hair!

Posted on 11:42 pm

It was a trip to Genting & Kuantan. All cramped in the weekend! o_O

The main objectives of the trip? To use that free room Genting offered to the boyfriend AND to cut my hair. To cut my waist-length hair to shoulder-length hair like how all these Japanese girls in Vivi Magazine are doing is not something I would ask any hair stylist to do it for me. I just had to go to the one that I trust.

So, off we went. No pics in Genting because it’s getting really boringggg. But surprise! I took pics in Kuantan!

To be very honest, I’m kind of missing Kuantan. I just miss those days when I was much more carefree (than now) and can yam cha by the beach at McD! Also, since boyfriend went to Kuantan with me for the 1st time, I determined to bring him to eat nice food in Kuantan! Who said only Ipoh has nice food? *stares*

So! We went to Pak Su Seafood Restaurant for dinner after my hair cut! :D

(Actually I just realized that they have a website when I was Googling to make sure I got the restaurant’s name right! Gasp!)

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

I think it’s Pak Su Beancurd. Nothing to shout about.

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

Some crabs with pepper. Not very good. My mom cooks better than this!

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

Stir fried venison with ginger & spring onion.

Conclusion? Totally wayyyy under my expectation. I’ve heard about it since young but my parents do not fancy taking a long trip to go to a certain place just to eat, so we always ate around the town when we were staying there because we live very near to the town anyway. I’ve been hearing so much about this seafood place that it’s apparently the best seafood place in Kuantan. Not up to my expectation. So I suggest to have your meal there with no or much lower expectation then probably it’ll turn great! ;)

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

Meh. The infamous paparazzi picture.

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

Debating which part of the crab is ze best. Obviously, he didn’t agree with me!

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

This is a picture of me without mascara. (Sounds so SATC!!! Well, only if you’re a hardcore SATC fan.)

I forgot to bring my mascara and only drew eyeliner. FML. But luckily… I didn’t look that bad. *phew*

But! Wait a minute! Have you already noticed/seen my new fab hair???

:D

The mandatory darlings picture!

Pak Su Seafood Restaurant

As well as the mandatory couple’s picture!

Then it was drinking at Black Pearl til late night & crashed in the hotel!

New keychain

Next morning! Bright & shine! & I just have to show you this picture!

The pink bear with blue heart is my new keychain. Damn omfg cute! :D

Curry noodle

Washed up & picked up SinYi to have this curry noodle nearby her house which she claimed to be one of the best ones in town.

Ohkay. I beg to differ. I think it was definitely much better than a lot of curry noodles in Klang Valley (but cannot compare to my favorite curry noodle in Jln Alor!). But I somehow think it’s too lemak. BUT it was meant to be, because they mixed the Nasi Lemak’s curry in as well, so maybe if you’re a person who like very lemak food, you’ll like it. :)

Teluk Chempedak

Then we went to chill by the infamous beach, which is really contradicting. We’re definitely fried and not chilled. HAHA ok sorry pun intended! :P

Teluk Chempedak

& I actually missed the beach! I remember I used to hate this town quite a bit for whatever happened to me and now I miss it. GREAT.

Then it’s Gossip Girl ala Kuantan’s style. LOL!

Teluk Chempedak

“Yeah, that was one stupid bitch!” LOL.

Teluk Chempedak

Oh look, we have matching shoes! Like how Blair has matching hairbands with the girls!

Teluk Chempedak

I somehow like this picture a lot. Like very vintage or something.

Teluk Chempedak

12 years of friendship. :)

Eh why we have matching legs pose too?! What is wrong with us!

Teluk Chempedak

Haha I’m tall for at least once! :P

After that we had to leave to go back to our real world.

And the new record is that I drove to Kuantan and back to KL! Half way each! And Justin was sleeping like a baby! That means I’m quite good in driving! :D   p/s: No I didn’t drive on the slow lane! I drove on the fastest lane! ppffft!

Can’t believe we’re friends for 12 years already! It feels like just yesterday when we always met at school and b*tch about other people. LOL

Miss you darling. Hope to see you when I’m in town again next time. No worries, I’ll make my appointment with you a week earlier this time! Hah! >.<

  4. [...] I also went to Kuantan with the boyfriend, partly to cut my hair short and to meet up with DarlSinYi. Then later in the year I went to Shawn Cutler to do my hair and I still very much prefer Angel at Maroon Salon in Kuantan. [...]
