Another night spent missing the States so much

I blame that on the vlogs of David Choi & Clara C 2012 Fall Tour. Especially this one.

My sister asked me why I came back and why I didn’t even bother to try looking for a job there. Le sigh. Seriously I don’t know why also. T__T I meant I know why but I really didn’t think straight that time. I know the winter was crazy in East Lansing and nobody really dress up there but I loved it there! The people were so much more friendlier and helpful. To be honest, I felt much secured there. I have met so many nice people there and they just took me as one of them. I personally had not experienced any discrimination there and I received a lot of love from so many people I’ve met there. The streets were clean. Even with the dirty snow when it’s melting away, they tried their best to clean the streets! People hold doors for each other. They greet people, even strangers.

I remember once there was a snow storm after class, we were all running back to the dorm. I already held up my hand to open the door when I approached the entrance of my dorm, but it’s already opened. The guy who ran with us reached there first and opened/held the door for all of us to enter! He came in last after that. Super sweet and selfless! I’ve yet to experience this in my homeland.

I also don’t know why I typed so much about all that. I guess I really miss it there.

  1. Totally agree with you.
Somehow I regret why I have been back.
Now I am just in the place where everything is zero again.
    :(
